BOMB THREATS

The Smithfield School Committee believes that the making of a threat that a bomb or other explosive device has been placed in or on school property has the potential to seriously disrupt the educational process. Therefore, the School Committee has approved a bomb threat procedure that is available in the District’s Emergency Operations Plan (DEOP). This procedure is not shared publicly in order to preserve the confidentiality of our safety procedures.
